The Foundation does not make grants to individuals; and while some gifts are made to organizations outside the Commonwealth of Virginia, the focus of support is within the South Hampton Roads cities and counties.

The Board of Trustees customarily meets in February, April, July and November to consider requests for grants. Deadlines for grant proposal submission for the above meetings are January 1, March 1, June 1 and October 1, respectively.  If the deadline date of the 1^st falls on a weekend or holiday, grant requests are due the previous working day.  Proposals can be submitted to the Beazley Foundation office at 3720 Brighton Street, Portsmouth, Virginia 23707.  The Board, however, reserves the right to, at any time, reschedule a meeting and attendant deadline.

Applications not conforming to format requirements will not be considered to the Board.
